The Enigma of Awareness



Awareness as phenomenon
requires consciousness
which itself is unconscious
of its own unconscious state,
which is conscious of its conscious state.

About this poem

This short poem describes the Ouroboros replicating effect of consciousness that plagued fifteenth century French philosopher and mathematician, Rene Descartes in his treatise on The World and Discourse; and which continues to befuddle great minds of all disciplines and philosophies.
