Till I See You
Months go by waiting for you,
Not too sure what my plans are to do.
Last you called made me feel confused.
Am I staying here to keep you amused?
Time is wasting away not sure how to feel.
Understanding you’ll be gone seems unreal.
Six months passed by another six more,
Fighting this together feels like a never-ending war.
Losing myself while you’re doing time-
I’m only 21 this isn’t my crime.
Trying to figure out what we are,
Thinking to myself, has this gone too far?
Restless nights pondering about our life.
A fantasy, perhaps I’ll be your wife.
Happy moments when you were home,
Now you left me all alone.
Waiting for a dream come true,
You left me without a clue.
You're all I want I’m willing to wait.
Wanting to feel your touch is what I truly hate.
15 minute calls do not suffice.
Jealous of healthy relationships, must be nice.
Stuck in my emotions of my love for you,
Maybe this is something I shouldn’t do.
Staying strong until you get out,
Looking at my life, is it time to change my route?
Empty promises tear my heart,
I can’t deal with all this time apart.
Tiny gestures is what I miss,
Tight hugs, hand holding, even the smallest kiss.
Improving myself so we can be better together.
We both don’t realize, this might not be forever.
When you get out will we be the same?
Or did I waste time not understanding this game?
The amount I love you is astronomical.
People around tell me it’s not logical.
Where we’re at, is inconclusive,
Is it time I consider us exclusive?
