The water day

Amna Zardari 2008 (Hyderabad)

It was a day of beauty,
The sun was on its duty

The wind was pretty cold,
The sunlight felt like a gold

The day was cheerful,
The blue was beautiful

                  STRAIGHT AWAY

The dark cotton popped up on welkin,
The tears of water showered towards flooring

Plants and animals took a bath,
And the vehicled went to the right path

The grime on the roadways washed away,
But it was the month of may
