Stars and Skies

If I was to be buried under the stars and the skies

I would really want to take your hand for a while.

I know it would be somewhere near impossible

But I would surely want to see the glimmer of your eyes.

I know the soft voice of yours; will make me feel better, and the charming smile will console me,

so stay, even if it is for a while.

I know the heavens lie in wait for you,

but I want you to remain right here by my view.

I don't fear death, but I fear the sadness that will shelter you.

I fear that someone far, far away will be out there looking for me.

Everything has an end and our journey ends here.

I lingered around a lot, but now it's time for me to let go.

I wish the stars and the skies a goodbye.

I wonder how the world looks on the other side.
