Love in the Dark

Left to think when thoughts are broken
Shattered hearts we are the chosen.
See, time has changed the way we think,
We are only as smart as the lost who speak.
However far the journey may lead,
To the ends of the earth, atop the trees,
To the depths of the hollow, the core of the seed
We were forever eternal it all just a dream.
Dreaming of something imperceivable to mind,
We lost it while aging, with pride it still hides
And so, this poem goes in regard to love
Broken is better than giving up.
