Invisible to Others

They tried so hard to tarnish you casting every fault, one by one they laughed with words not coming to a halt.
I laughed and lolled at all their talk and yawned at their reprise, but sat and listened to their guff as each thought she was wise.
I gazed over at their husbands, and I grew the biggest smile, I simply could not help myself for they looked like a horse's pile.
Suddenly, they were quiet and starting at the floor, my darling then took me by the hand and led me to the door!
