I Know You Know

I know you know
What you did wrong
Why we drifted apart
I know you know
My wound is still fresh, I’m dying on the inside
The bleeding won’t stop
I know you know
You shouldn’t have done that
Now you’ve lost something great
I know you know
You should’ve chose me instead of her
You broke me
But do you know
That I miss you more and more everyday?
That I can’t do this without you?
That I still love you even if you don’t love me?
Do you know
That I don’t go a single day without thinking about what we could’ve been?
That it’s never really over for me?
That I will always wait on you?
You’re mine until the end.

About this poem

I wrote this poem about someone who I was deeply in love with. They left me and there was things that went unsaid. This is everything I wanted to say to him but couldn’t find the courage to.
