Girl without a heart

There once was a girl with no heart

She didn't know how it came to be

But she didn't mind, it didn't matter

Because without a heart, she was free

Free from the pain of love and loss

Free from the hurt of being rejected

Free from the chains of emotion

She was free to live her life unencumbered

And so she did, she lived her life

Without a care in the world

Without a heart, she was happy

Without a heart, she was whole
