If the door from the wild wind creaks
Oh, how my soul for you it craves
If a dry branch in the garden stirs
the agony visits me in waves

A stranger 's footstep on the street
You are not coming, it's so late
In vain all the heartbeat
still in darkness i wait

The night is cold and dim
tears my lonely candle dripping
on the floor playing a moonbeam
poor body yearning is whipping

Desperation holds me tight
I know you will not appear

but forever is my fear
