Dear childhood

Somya Srivastava 2005 (Dehradun)

Dear childhood, why did you leave me so soon?
Why did you change all my mischiefs into responsibilities?
Why did you burden my carefree shoulders with the loads of life?
Did you think I am grown enough to handle and survive with the loads of life peacefully or you wanted me to be a failure as everyone else think's I am?
Did you believe in me or you wanted to prove others right?

( My dear, I have always believed that you are a fighter, you can fight any problem and survive.
And I'll always believe in you because I have seen how hard life has been on you,
And I have seen you fight and conquer in such a young age
That I am sure that you'll handle the obstacles in adulthood with more courage
I am grateful to be a part of your life which has seen you broken, alone, depressed but never a failure.
You didn't give up and I know you'll not give up.
Stay strong! )
