CRIES OF A YOUNG BOY

WITH CLOSE EYES AS TEARS RUNS FROM EAST TO WEST
WITH SOLEM VOICE NO MOTHER TO WEAN HER BREAST
I WANT TO SPEAK BUT NO VOICE
CRYING WAS NOT AN OPTION BUT A CHOICE

NO MOTHER TO DO THE LULLABY
CRYING WAS THE ONLY THING I COULD APPLY

WITH MY TEETH TREMBLING
WITH MY VOICE DABBLING
WITH MY MIND BAFFLING
AND I FELT MY SOUL BOGGLING

SOMETIMES I WANT TO STRETCH FORTH BUT I FELT SOMETHING IS HOLDING ME BACK
ALL I COULD FEEL WAS A CHAIN OF PLAQUE

NO JOKES TO BE CRACK
AS I SIT AND HEAR PEOPLE FLACK

CRYING WITH A FEARFUL TRILL JUST TO EASE MY PANG
WITH A BANG THE MORE I CLANG

AS DISTANT CRY WAS HEARD FROM A YOUNG BOY

About this poem

This poem is about my childhood days when growing up as a young boy. No love from my mother, father and not to talk about other relatives . My mom died the day she gave birth to me and that's the day that I can never forget which is my birthday (02/14/2004). No mother to do the lullaby and at night I want to speak but no voice, crying was my only choice I got. No one to show love or neither to crack the joke instead in watch how my neighbors and relatives flack. With all the pains and sadness i had to cry in which my cries were heard from a distant as a young boy.
