DRIVEN

Dynel Walker 1987 (special)

I strive to reach the goals that my heart ever so yearns
years and years passes buy patiently waiting my turn
My desire to aquire that which most said I cant
I've walked miles down failures drive until my feet draw faint

My vision so vivid yet my goals runs from my grasp
My wants my thoughts my love suddenly runs flat
Motivation turns procrastination as a water well run dry
eager to find my dream again valiantly I pry

I tunnel my vision restructure my mission determined to see it's end
ever so careful to not grow weary and start where I Begin
My inner clock ticks regaining my wits renewed like mourning dew
each failure turns blur with wisdom incurred my road is paved anew

my sight regained I reject refrain my hopes shines like beams from the sun
realizing my latter forgetting the former in this I have won
inner pictures of the completed task my wieght lifted a ton
it all lead back to the road in which now I am driven
