Night

Once at night, I saw silence collapse into footsteps
Moving towards me like a deadly snake in rattling chains
I search for a lamp to unveil the steps
It was a scary moment, moments that vommed out my heart. Fears that made my hand cold
Looking like the cold hands of death is upon me
Though the night is past the picture still lingers in my head
Fondling around with thoughts. Though the night is gone the footsteps still hurt in the day.
