MY NOSTALGIA AND YOUR LAUGHTER

MY NOSTALGIA AND YOUR LAUGHTER/By Oscar Bazzardi

A clear night announces its new moon and a longing
On the lost sands, the birds dance their dance
As a tenderness emerges from the soul that reaches the teeth
Evoking the silhouette of the doll, which was innocent laughter.

Everyone keeps memories, of lost souls
I remember my nostalgia and your collected laughter
And the grumbling lifeless piano notes
Wrapped in farewell smoke.

The moment was the lesson learned
And there I knew that the absence... did exist
Vain attempts at letters made for welcome
They die slowly in the drawers, of empty loves

And so between your departures and mine, we lie in the midday sun
We said goodbye to the future, on the platform and it went down the road.
Noxious waters slide in the river of life, without a beacon
And never, never again my nostalgia and your laugh were reunited

About this poem

It is a lost love, which is identified in a gesture of the beloved that he misses more every day, that gesture is his lover's laugh
