Little Girl Dance

A Little Girl
Dances Alone.
Wondering
Where she will go.
Her mind is filled with dreams of hope.
To show the world that she can cope.

A Dream of Dance
So Strong and Free
Is all she will probably ever See
Unless one day
Her Dreams come True,
Then we can say,
We knew her too.

About this poem

Many years ago, I was watching television, and a commercial came on showing a young girl trying to learn ballet. It inspired me to about how our dreams live in our mind and our futures depend upon its success.
