Woman of Proverbs

Marlienke Taylor 2005 (Bloemfontein)

Tame the wild soul
contain her spirit
for her might will call
she'll mean it, you'll hear it

A wild heart
can't be tamed
A Godly woman,
she wants to be named

She praises the Lord
with mind and soul
She loves her God
His approval- her ultimate goal

She does good for other
Her heart filled with love
She keeps evil from her brother
takes him to the One above

She is the bride-
Focussed and blessed
Her Groom's pride,
Her faith- confessed
