THIS

If I could give you anything,
It would be this.
This instance, this feeling, this reality.
For this is all we are.

I would give you myself,
And in giving myself,
You would recognise your own self,
Which is one and the same.

If I could show you true love,
I would not give you a kiss,
But I would bare you my soul,
Share it with you.

And if I could do one thing more,
Before I leave this place,
I would give you my all,
I would give you... this.

Jonathan Michael Harrison

Jonathan is an author, poet, musician, speaker and founder of The Natural Being Foundation in the UK. An Award-winning and Amazon#1 author, he began writing following a mystical death experience in 2007. He is currently the author of six books, including one audiobook and a collection of 'awakening verse' poetry. Poetry began playing an increasingly larger role in his life following an intensive retreat led by Daizan Roshi, a master in the Rinzai tradition of Zen. Jonathan composes poetic contemplations of the consciousness found beyond the everyday, allowing readers to glimpse the mystical mind of realisation and enlightenment. more…
