Magnificent Key

MAGNIFICENT KEY

Verse I

When I woke up one morning,
A key fell in my hand.
I asked, “What are you doing there?
It looked at me and said, “It’s time to shake what you bear.”

A thousand stars in the darkest nights keep on watching
A sparkling lights that see what I am longing
In the tall wall that becomes my shield when I keep on hiding
Where should I go in a world that is full of lightning?

I blinked and decided to throw the key and lock the door.
I feel safe in the hugs of the cold floor.
Tic tac tic tac, the minutes of failures called,
I knew it! It is better to hide and not to be bold.

Verse II

I do not know when or where this feeling started.
I don’t have any idea; the problem cannot be spotted.
I just wanted to be at peace, but I am thinking of what really happened
Society makes me realize that I need my life to be fastened.

I remember a day when I walked in the street.
I saw someone shaking, crying, and seems in defeat
I walk closer to him, and when I reach the inch of grim
He looks familiar. It's a mirror, and I am him.

I am him, and I don’t know how to fight.
Day by day, I am tired, but I always tell myself it is alright
Alright! That is not even the case.
I will no longer run in this messy race.

Verse III

Every day, I will wear a smile on my face.
The smile that makes people think that I am not in the maze
The laughter that I tried to pull out when a joke was made
But none of those are genuine; feeling is hidden and has shade.

In this four edges of the room
I know that I am in a state of being doom
But no one sees it because no one cares
People will only throw disgusting glares.

No one cares. If there’s one, can you tell me who?
I need someone to understand what I am going through
I always ask myself if I really wanted to stay here and stay out of view.
I do not know the answer, but I don’t want to be screwed.

Verse IV

When I woke up the following day
The same key fell in my hand and stick like a glue
I asked, “Why did you come back when I already threw you away?”
It looked at me and smiled, “I’m waiting for someone to reach the blue.”

I looked up and saw the sky. I wish I were a kite.
A kite that can fly freely and higher than I’ve done
The situation where there’s no fright
And I can redraw life and let this moment be gone.

I held the key tighter and decided never to throw it again.
The outside still has lightning, but in this place, I don’t want to be retained.
I will start writing different chapters and put the old ones on a shelf
In the meantime, I will try to open up and be myself.
