Helpless Kashmiri

                A   helpless  kashmiri
I belong from the paradise of earth
Where meadow brown sucks meadow hue
Where sorrows are few
Where mountain kisses sky
Where birds happily fly
Where Jhelum hugs wular
Where dal is calm in middle of srinagar
Where followers  smile & cheer
Where Kids doesn’t have any fear
Where LAL & NUND are in every tongue
Where BUDSHAH is praised by every one
Where happiness arrives with the sun
Unknown here was gun
it was before my birth
it was called paradise on earth
now it is burning paradise
where flames every day rise
where happiness was forced to vacate
where every mother has lost her Tufail
where kids are ready to fight
where villages are without light
where intellectuals are still in slumber
where eyes rebel
where every one is spectator
where locals are interrogated by outsider
where mothers did not sleep
where children whole night weep
where people have  forgot their name
where some still fight for their fame
where poison is dew
Where wrinkled faces are in rue
Where truth has lost the tongue
Where killing innocent is fun
Here I was born
I have seen only thorn
I am helpless
A helpless kashmiri
