Devil’s knocking

Michael Clark 1977 (Hell)

A heart filled with emotion
A soul consumed by rage
A mind that races constantly
Like a rat stuck in a cage
A agony that will not rest
A pain that will not sleep
A body forever broken
 a conscious searching for peace
A god that never answers
A devil that knocks on the door
Sooner or later I’ll let him in
Cause I know I can’t take much more
