Ashleys wings

Ode to Ashley 1988 (Stockton)

Ode

Spread your wings, Ashley
Fly away and escape this place
Ill never forget your face
So, forget me, no
Yea, forget me not
Your a beautiful flower
Your all I got
You got the power
And your all that Im not
Im so sorry that I was weak, Im so sorry I let you down
You fell away so fast, but it was me who hit the ground
I spill my heart to you, and I really dont know why
The last thing I wanted was to make you cry
Forgive me for being so dumb
Forgive me for what Ive done
Spread your wings and fly
