The town clown

Clean i can the filth on the urban street         But my broom cannot the filthy mind             treat.
                                                                           Nature has her limits you see.
So,came the invisible corona may be.

The curtains of celebration uplifted
stretched across curtains of fear unlimited.

Death came dancing through wet markets,
making silence rule the hypermarkets.

The sun rose and the trees blossomed.
The moon smiled and the stars twinkled.

The little bird on my tree too gaily chirped.
The mangoose in the grass carelessly frolicked.

For once they seemed to mock,
at the entire human folk.

Or is it that our dear Mother;
is caressing to tell
"Not to bother"

So i am back again,
from my duties i ain't refrain.
