Stranger

Once a visitor came and knocked
Whoever opened the door got shocked
The families always accept this visitor
They knew that it was from the Creator

The preacher's voice become prominent
The grace of God become divine
We are engraven and we are important
Even when the visitor comes from heaven

When the visitor takes one member
God always remember
And never leave His people wanting
Hope, the amount of love in waiting

The visitor, death, is unpredictable
He remained uncharitable
Death removes our happiness
We are left in corners of loneliness

Prayer is the weapon to limit his visit
And the Lord remains in our hearts even when we die young

About this poem

The poem is about death which comes to us as an unexpected visitor. It is very strange even though we know that it is real.
