Smoke and ashes

What remained of a forelon smear,
Dark black deepset eyes and gentle locks of hair,
You guided my life, you protected me every now and then,
From the outside world: people, harsh and shrewd
You saved my day for me when others were all the more critical
Your demise pained me a lot ... Heart ache dear father,
This is the kind of pain that gashes,
Telling the unsaid saga ...
Of the lost story of smoke and ashes...
Your funeral pyre did bring return to the five elements
My heartiest feelings went out to you
Posthumously you were up, up and away..
But then came a little boy in our lives..
Your incarnation a little child in our family..
Back from the azure blue sky...
Back in my arms..I remember you ..
Your face resembling your old visage...
And you chatter with all of us like before...
Nothing can be said or done about
The once undone and now remade...
The story that began in the form
Of the lost story of smoke and ashes...
