Sincerely Addiction
Do you remember the bad decisions we made?
Do you remember how made your feelings fade?
Remember how I was your escape
How i made you not care about your fate?
I poisoned your mind and turned you against friends
Those friends between us had to end
I wouldn't let you keep anyone close
Made you fear things you didn't know
Fear was my tool that fed paranoia,
but that's not the only emotion I had for ya
The friends that seemed the realest you convinced me was fake
Only commonly interested ones was the ones to make
I made you turn on the ones that really cared
I made you believe they wasnt there
I manipulated your mind to think nobody cared
In reality you pushed them all away
You wouldn't listen to what they had to say
You felt so alone at the end of the day
Only feeling useful when you had Me
I was the only thing that set you free
I helped you destroy everything you love
I made you curse at the Father above
At times I was what consumed your mind
In those times you was greedy and unkind
You would do anything to find me just to break from reality
You slipped away but for how much time
Trying to convince everyone you was fine
When you tried to leave I made you sick
Not to worry that wasn't my last trick
I creep up when your least expecting
I don't care who it's affecting
I've taken everything away good
Made you do things you never should
So, when will you learn we can't live in harmony...
That I imprison you, not set you free??
