Mirror

Sherry Caayupan 1980 (Davao city)

A grain of sand speaks more than the imprints,
On the sand beside the shore of love;
That every speck of it counts and builds a mirror,
A reflection of undying beauty seen so beauteously as a pure white dove;

A single speck sparkles as it shows shimmering light,
Strong enough to brighten a more beautiful day;
As strong as stars that shine in the night,
Every star as a speck of sand glitters by the ocean way;

A shore of endless purity,
A well to be wished of love;
Is an anticipation bound to be in heaven's glory,
Of which merriment so endless as the skies above.
