Summets peak

Summets peak

Here we are and here we stand
Let’s look around and make our plans
And hope our deeds are met

City that teaches within its
Trenches of how it is
Cosmic worlds that hinder
Truths
Memories forged within its roots
We discover by going through
On the barricades of here and now

Sweating palms reach to grease its gears
Defend their niches within trembling fears
Between the contours of their laws
Desolate disinheritances
Decay before their time

Meaning lost to truths now known
Historical conditions ripe to rise
Pressures built till overflowed
Internal externalities held at bay
Within the shock doctrines that they play

Through incarnate actions we persist
Within the normality’s
Of our routines
We seize the day to make our way
Obligatory amnesia silenced
Within the deafness of our times

Disconnecting distractions
come without a care
On the crosses that we bare
Tilting at the windmills rising
Rusted armors and lance in hand

Within the wisdom of its meekness
Through the strength of our weakness
Wild in their freedoms coming

From the valleys in woodlands deep
Off the drifting trails we seek
Till we reach ocean shores of
Summit’s peaks
Where we can rest once more
