Heartbreaking

I hope there is a Heaven,
With someone waiting there.
Where fear doesn't live,
And there's only love to share.

I hope there's someone's arms,
To wrap around you all.
That wash away the knowledge,
Of the day that you did fall.

I hope there is a warmth,
That fills your souls with peace.
I pray there's swings and roundabouts,
Where fun doesn't ever cease.

I pray that all your parents,
In fact right now I just don't know.
I know they will not heal,
Because they loved you so.

I pray one day for justice,
For a future not yet seen.
That laws will now be changed,
Because of a past that's been.

If Heaven has a staircase,
I'd climb up every stair.
And carry you all back down,
To see your parents waiting there.
