SET THINGS RIGHT

Debbie Middaugh AKA TURBO1904 1963 (San Diego, CA.)

Laugh in the places
Where you have cried.
It is not healthy to keep
Things on the inside.

   Try in the places
Where you have given up.
   If you’re a big dog,
You can't piss like a pup.

   Show love in the places
You can hate.
   Always start out with
A clean slate.

   See things where you were
Once blind.
   Remember, you can always
Change your mind.

   Exit through the
Entrance door.
   Always be on the
Look out for.

   Slow down when you
Think you need to speed.
   Don't give into the
Likes of greed.

   Trust where you once
believed in doubt.
   Sometimes you have
To ride it out.

   Be honest in the places
Where you lied.
   Always try to be on
The safe side.

   Be kind where you
Were once mean.
   Try not to make
A big scene.

   Find faith where there
Is no hope.
   Some days you can feel
The slipping rope.

   Be right in the places
You were wrong.
   No matter what,
 keep plugging along.

   Turn the other cheek,
before you fight.
   Sometimes you have to,
Set things right.
