"Infinitely Gray"

It is quite a rainy day,
 I see a raindrop,
 Everything fled away.

 No birds wanted to stay,
they all hide up in the treetop,
It is quite a rainy day.

The wind howls and palm trees sway,
I hear a few drips plop, plop, plop,
Everything has fled away.

It is  quiet and there is nothing to say,
And suddenly everything comes to a stop,
It is quite a rainy day.

The rain starts again and I see a spray,
As a car pulls up to the bus stop,
 Everything has fled away.

 The sky is extremely gray,
And on a leaf sits a dewdrop.
It is quite a rainy day,
 Everything has fled away.
