Nighttime

While the darkness starts creep,
Twilight shows its eerie haze,
As the sun is going to sleep.

Hearing not a single peep,
Nothing but the silence stays,
While darkness starts to creep.

Out, the light begins to seep
No more bright incoming rays,
As the sun is going to sleep.

Clearly hearing every creak,
As I lie in bed, unfazed,
While darkness starts to creep.

But slowly tension finds a peak,
While I am still in a daze,
As the sun is going to sleep.

While I look through darkness, deep,
My imagination goes and plays,
While darkness starts to creep.
As the sun is going to sleep.
