silent death

I stare blankly at the ceiling in shock it stares back
 I can't believe it.
Apparently, neither cam the ceiling.
I can hear the wind howling, calling my name
And the roof creaking.
 i can't beleive it.
I can't believe someone finally did it.
I cried, I think I was going into shock.
I couldn't hear the wind calling me,
nor could I move.
Silence is all I could hear.
 Silence.
Then, finally, I hear someone,
 more like something,
it was death they'd come to take me.
To the afterlife, that is.
Surprisingly, I wasn't afraid.
 I was finally free,
free of burden and responsibility
 I was at peace.
