Hold On

LoriAnne Hancock 1957 (Salt Lake City, UT)

One foot in a dying world
One foot in a birthing world
Hold on the best you can
And if you can, dance

We wave good by to that which
Already 'once was'
Moving from rock cliff to rock cliff
A Zeitgeist at our finger tips

Hold on the best you can
And if you can, dance
Like when we were kids
And intentionally slid on ice

Humanity at it's best, is you
Being kind to yourself and others
Following intuitions voice
Breathing with every cell

It will all be turning
From black and white to
Shades of grey
Then vibrant sunlit hues

Just hold on, be the best you
Dance in those old shoes
Available for the call and more than
Ready for the ball

About this poem

Comes from the heart. Everyone is suffering right now. Want to give light.
