HIM

He glided into my life soft and warm
Like that calm after a destructive storm
Like the Sunrise Off the coast of Africa
Breathtaking it commands all of you attention
You couldn’t look away if you wanted to.
He is strong as that first cup of black coffee
In the morning.
Deep as the Black Sea
Sweet as that honeyI put in his tea
I get lost in his eyes when he looks at me
He makes me feel right as rain late at night
As I whisper his name.
He is as gentle as that kiss on the forehead you
Give a child right before you say goodnight.
He is my Peace
My Joy
My Pleasure
My King
My Heart
I just started free falling right from the start
I hope I never hit the ground because
I love HIM

About this poem

This Poem was created after being pursued for some moths after by someone I was scared to trust, and reluctant to be hurt again. But I finally stopped running and I was pleasantly surprised.
