Glimpse into nature

Elizabeth palmer 1978 (Florida)

The raindrops trickle down my airfogged window/there's a slight thundering sound and it hurts my sensitive ears even though it is low/lightening flashes through the darkened night sky/my heartbeat quickens and a tear rolls down my pink cheek as I let out a sigh/the whole moon sits apon a thrown of fluffy white clouds looking down apon all the beautiful and  mysterious  things/as I sit here at this airfogged window wondering what the new day will bring.
