Dear Young Black King

Dear Young Black King, THIS is the time for YOU to stand tall?
THIS is the time for YOU to represent your black queens, the time for YOU represent US ALL.

Dear Young Black King, the world is YOURS for the taking.
There’s ALWAYS a way to overcome ANY mistakes that you’re making.

Dear Young Black King, they were CAPTURED, they were SOLD, they were ENSLAVED, after riding over on those boats.
THIS is your time to shine, to STAND UP, to be the GOAT.

Dear Young Black King, there is NO room for self doubt.
That is not, AT ALL, what your ancestors were about.

Dear Young Black King, they WALKED, they SAT, they SUFFERED, AND they DIED just to get you here.
And They did it ALL, through BLOOD, SWEAT, and TEARS.

Dear Young Black King, there is GREATNESS circulating through your veins.
Your ANCESTORS are your umbrellas that protect YOU from the rain.

Dear Young Black King, your PAST is GONE, your PRESENT is HERE, and your FUTURE is up to YOU.
There is NOTHING, under the high, bright sun, IMPOSSIBLE for you to do.

Dear Young Black King, your FUTURE is so amazingly bright.
It’s enough to ILLUMINATE the DARKEST of nights.

Dear Young Black King, it doesn’t matter what “they” do or say.
You are a YOUNG BLACK KING, EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Stand up, stand tall, lift your voice and sing.
Let the whole world know you are a YOUNG BLACK KING.
