Simple Things

Life has many choices here,
To fill out every need;
Perhaps at times we overlook,
How easy Life can be;
In retrospect to everything,
The harder things are sure;
We use our great intelligence,
At times becomes obscured;
To much of this or that we find,
End’s up in closets over time;
Of things we thought might simplify,
We ought not think to justify;
The things we truly need in Life,
Aren’t found in nearby stores;
The Simple Things of Life are found,
In seeking those in need;
Once you’ve found the Simple Life,
Those things we didn’t need;
Now there’s time for gentle walks,
And time to share my thoughts;
My life has found more meaning now,
More Simple Things to do;
Not cluttered-Up with worldly Things,
That really slow us down…
