No sun by my side

I've always perceived you as my sun
My future's pitch-black now that you're gone
Without you, I'm just a ball of ice-coated rock, lifeless
Floating aimlessly around in space, surrounded by darkness

So many objects in the galaxy, but you are the best one
You can't be replaced 'cause there can only be one sun
Billions of stars in our universe, yet you shine the brightest
In my entire existence, knowing you was the greatest

You gave me a direction to my desired destination
But your sudden disappearance leads to my destruction
Well, I deserve for you to turn away anyway
Still, you're my ray of hope that brightens every gloomy day

Because of your absence, I became a goner
After all, your sunlight is my only savior
The light you emit helped me get through my darkest days
I felt nothing but ashamed for letting those days go to waste

The air becomes colder as you go farther
And days become duller as you stray further
Now, I'm just a lifeless round rock, petrified
Alone in the vast universe, with no sun by my side
