The sound of silence! Who can hear?
The footsteps of the Lord draw near
The trees will tremble; the earth will quake
But not one more step will I take

Until my Adam I have found
The seed of mankind from the ground
A simple little building block
Another Lamb will join the flock

And of His glory there is no end
I loved Him back; He called me friend
