The Bride

Awake at last
The day has dawned
My bridal attire , i adorn
So fresh , so bright
With eyes alight
Sparkling lyk the sun so bright

My carriage awaits
To thee i come
All splendour , in my bridal gown
The trumpet sounds a simple song
The bride has come ! The bride has come.

And as u take me in your hand
A glowing warmth , i understand
With a loving kiss and
Treasured bliss
I pledge my love
I pledge my vows

Its time to go and share my life
With my husband at my side
Mamma cries and pappa sighs
To see me leaving as a bride
Farewell ! My child they shout for joy
And with special blessings
I take my ride.
