From the Mouths of Babes
About this poem
What is that infant tongue heard garbledly bubbling with no hesitation? It is that ancient tongue of innocence that's lost, that forms the foundations of languages, and the beginnings of the emotions and feelings and psychologies of which we lose sight and seek evermoreafter to regain, to harness, to corral, which forms part of the absence and loss we feel that later transforms into psychological angst and spiritual lack. more »
