God

I believe there is one God,
called by many names.
God has been called Allah, Buddha,
Yah-weh, I am who am, Krishna.
Different cultures and religions
believe in a Supreme Being.
Yet instead of understanding that
it’s the same God, we fight over
whose God is better, right or stronger.
We should be coming together to do
what is right by following his commands.
His commands to love not just him,
but our neighbor.
If we loved one another, there would
be no murder, wars, stealing, envy, or adultery.
The world would be better off for it.
