The Good Die Young

It seems to often good people die at a young age.
People who knew them are filled with sorrow and rage.
We wonder how God could take them
  from us in their prime.
Maybe God needs their help to
  watch over the world.

  God gives everyone a chance
  to earn their heavenly place.
  Those that die young have
  succeeded in earning their place.

  He makes them guardian angels
  to watch over us.
Others he let’s live ‘til another day
when they have grown old and gray.
He gives them time to mend their ways,
He gives them a chance to
  earn their way into grace.
