Cuticle Remover

Cuticle
Kyew-tic-cull
Remover
Rubbed into my
Cuticles
To remove them

Ingredients are
Water
Caustic potash
Calcium carrageenan
Oil
Lanolin

Caustic is acidic
Isn’t potash potatoes
Why would that remove
My cuticles
They are such a starchy treat
Chopped up
Cooked in olive oil

Calcium for your bones
And your cuticles apparently

Carrageenan like bubble gum
It sticks to your teeth when you chew it

What kind of oil
From olives or the rapeseed
Does it matter
To my cuticles

And lanolin
From the sad sheep
Spending their lives caged
All for human whims
Their wool coats
And their manicured moisturized hands

But anyways
Back to the cuticles
They whimpered
But it was good for them

Softened them up
Ripe for the cut
Then they’re gone
And my hands bleed
I cut too much away
