To Live Once Again

Listen to my heartbeat
Listen to my last breath
I had so much to say
But I didn't listen
I had a chance to survive
But my loan on life has expired
All I can do is stare
as you confide
It was my will
Now, it's my fight
My fight
to live once again
Second chances, don't come often
But, if you would
Don't let this be the end
I don't want to see
another painful tear
I don't want to say goodbye
I don't want to be buried
among the sand
I'll listen to what is right.
I promise
I beg of you
just one more chance
The chance to live
once again...
