No Escape

Everyday feels like Prison
You can’t get out
You feel hopeless
You feel like death is the only solution
You can’t eat nor sleep
Your body is slowly rejecting you In more ways than one
Everyday gets harder and harder for you to do anything for yourself
The days seem to run together
You try to put on a happy face but it doesn’t work at all
You are constantly fighting with yourself everyday
Positive always losing against the negative
It’s always to the point where you want to lay in bed all day and wish that any minute now you stop breathing and be at peace
It just seems like it never ends
There is no escaping this Prison
But only the Prison I’m talking about has no walls and no chains no handcuffs
No this Prison I’m talking about is a thing called Depression
