Last name

 Today I sat and spoke to God because I can't seem to keep his way;
     I beg and plead for help from him, but my chains have failed to break;
     I cry, Lord I will not forsake you or leave myself in shame;
     If lord you would please hold me and give me your last name;
     I am a seeker of the holy truth but I never see it through;
    And end up falling short of right and losing sight of you;
     I try too hard at perfection but it's the devils game;
     So lord please forgive me and give me your last name;
     I want to be betroven to the one who's light never dims;
     I want to close my eyes at night and feel the peace within;
    Never will I be hurting and filled with so much pain;
    If only you would have me and give me your last name;
    Please God won't you bless me and give me your last name;
