The Eye, The Heart, The Body

When the Tears break away from the Eye,
The Heart’s discharge trickles down the Face.
The world is blurred til the droplets dry.

The Mind demands the Eye not to cry,
But it fails. And so begins the internal race
When the Tears break away from the Eye.

Grasping for composure, the Head tilts toward the sky.
The Tears from the Heart’s pain prevail. In any case,
The world is blurred til the droplets dry.

The Body wobbles and weakens, not knowing why.
The Mind gets stopped and caught in the chase
When the Tears break away from the Eye.

As the Tears fall, the Mind secedes and ceases to try,
For the Heart knows the Body requires an embrace.
The world is blurred til the droplets dry.

The Body collapses as the Tears intensify
And the Heart, overwhelmed, increases in pace.
When the Tears break away from the Eye,
The world is blurred til the droplets dry.
