The End of Goodbye

                  The End of Goodbye
It hurts inside but my eyes won’t cry
I’m going out of my mind
I feel the pain but I must sustain
Gotta keep it out of sight
You gave me life and so much love
But now you’ve gone and said goodbye
Why?
I don’t want to say goodbye!
Life without you is no longer a bad dream
When I wake up and call your name, I’m reminded by the pain
I sit straight up, call out to God, and scream out your name
It hurts inside but my eyes won’t cry
I’m going out of my mind
I feel the pain but I must sustain
Gotta keep it out of sight
The days slip by and turn into years
I must admit I’m still fighting back my tears.
My life has changed but not my pain
I still want you here
Everyday I live without you by my side
Is another day closer to the end of goodbye
On that day is when my heart will be healed.
On that day all my prayers will be fulfilled
