A Jellyfish in love with the Sun.

Washing away, dragged by the current of the deep sea.

A place where my floating body strives to be,

I'm hollow and pinkish claimed to cause pain,

Although I'm see-through, no one sees me, my appearance such a shame.

My tentacles do not sting nor inflict any harm,

Yet from my arms, I'm always stinging, so much, I'm alarmed.

Above me far far away,
Something that lightens my touch.

A ball of hope, oh I Love it so much.

To leave my home and slowly I'll be there,

I ashore on these crushed up rocks, I lie, it's not fair.

Quietly I'm drying, the burn of death,

I don't have a heart, but it hurts in my chest,

The sky, the space, the sun has its pair,

The why, the wait, a jellyfish like me, should never have dared…
